9 eels in total smallest was 8oz biggest was 2lb 3oz. also 1lb 5oz 1lb1oz rest all under 1lb.
What got me was the size of baits they were taking. Big baits were totally wolfed down with really aggressive takes. Bigger fish caught at first light.

top result chris, steve amazed me with the size of baits an eel will take, it was also nice to fish with someone that put me onto eels , unlike the trollop duffy who seemed more concerned if his pants looked ok, i bet the boys on the villa holt end would love them pink y fronts :lol: only joking about the eels nik. :D

Thanks for your blank report Burglar. I have a few eels this year up to 4lb 13ozs. Really enjoyed the fishing which is the most important for me.
Looking forward to my next session once I have caught a pike from the river. Maybe I will try the Dock in November.
