Just thought i would introduce myself a little.
Im 17 years old and started sea fishing when i was 4.
Although i tend to go sea fishing more then river, i can only do this when away at my holiday home at the south coast so while im home here i take regular trips down the thames.
Not the most technical of anglers around and use prety simple gear but usually use two rods, one for barbel/carp/bream and anoter using fish head or worms for the fish we all love...the eel

im a sea fishermen and although i must admit i eat the occasional bass and mackeral i will neevr keep an eel....there just too god dam sexy
