Of course I will be fishing for the eel this year. But one target that I am planning is a PB Tench. I have booked a lake in the Cotswolds in April.
Cannot wait for the session.
Until then, I be fishing for the chub in the rivers. My favourite fish.

I've had the worst results ever this season, yet bizarrely loved every minute of it (well almost).

I have three PB's that will be broken this year; Eel, Zander and Pike. with a little thought and application none should be a problem. (there all laughable PB's)

NIce targets to aim for.
Have not thought about my other PB`s yet? To be honest, all my fish have been modest size but in saying that I would love to best them over the next few years. When I think about it thou. My main aim is to just enjoy fishing and what the countryside offers when I do get onto the bank.

I hope that the forum members continue to provide feedback on this post.

Hi Kev

First post, been lurking for a while.

Going to try and up my Tench pb , and my river bream pb. Having had a really crap winter.....didn’t fish that much couldn’t get my head in gear....when mentally ok the rivers were rubbish so the 2009 good intentions went to rat pooh.
I will fish for chub and barbel when the conditions are favorable…….no delusions about upping the pb’s just want to catch a few decent fish and enjoy myself.

Definitely going to try and sort out a decent Anguilla……I will be in touch regards a few tips etc.
Cheers for now
Duncan

Hi Nicksuper, That is the job for the NAC Social Officer. I am sure that they might sort out an eel for Dave. Mind you, Rome was not built in a day :)

I learned a lot last year... I'll put that to good practice this year. my target is quite simple 3 x 3's from different waters. canal, pit and reservoir.
might need to find another guide though the one I had last year was crap. ;)
