For those who expressed an interest in the Conger fishing the dates i have been able to get are August 19th and August 20th 2010 this is a Thursday and Friday and the tides are good for congering, no weekends were available due to the skipper getting booked well in advance and the fact he does a lot of 3 day channel island trips. He will charge us the same rate as this year which is £50 per head a day for 8 anglers and tackle can be hired at £5 a day for heavy duty Conger gear sponsored by penn. The skipper can also sort out b&b in Torquay if required.

Ashy take the plunge!

I was quite disappointed that steve clarified the tackle situation as I was just about to ask whether you'd need quicksilver or wire traces!!

Ashy i think Mark is going for the scaled down approach with a bit of touch ledgering rolling his leads deep into the wreck, lets not go down the wire /Quicksilver road again it will only upset Mr Duffy
Mark thats fine regarding deposit.

Damien Mevegissey is a shadow of its former self, nothing but headless pouting there now! :o

Only if you use rollovers (specially compensated to deal with the swell, of course)

The Dyson rig would make a lovely addition to any wreck, no good wreck should be without a handful of Dysons dangling from its structure!
